Sodexho at Concordia University offers four meal plans for 2007-2008:

Block Meal Plans entitle you to a fixed number of meals per semester, for use in the Hagen Campus Center Food Court during the all-you-care-to–eat times (evenings and weekends), plus an allocation of Flex Points for use any time. Blocks may also be used for guest meal purchases.

Flex Points spend just like cash, so you may use the points any time that the dining hall is open. During the a la carte meals (weekday breakfasts and lunches), you are only charged for the items that you select. Unused Flex Points will transfer from Fall to Spring, however, they do expire at the end of Spring Semester.

All Students living in non-apartment housing are required to purchase a Meal Plan each semester.

All-you-care-to-eat meals are designed to be eaten in the dining hall. These meals cannot be shared with a friend. Those that have purchased a block plan may pay for a friends meal with a block. Those purchasing The Traditional Plan may use Flex Points to purchase a meal for a friend.

The Cavalier Plan $1,595
50 Blocks plus $675 in Flex Points per Semester The Cavalier Plan is perfect for the lighter eater, or one who has a particularly hectic schedule, requiring maximum flexibility for utilizing your dining dollar.

The Concordia Plan $1,645
75 Blocks plus $625 in Flex Points per Semester Offering the ultimate in dining convenience, the Concordia plan allows you the opportunity to enjoy more all-you-care-to- eat meals, while still providing ample Flex Points for varying schedules and for treating friends to meals.

The Hagen Plan $1,705
100 Blocks plus $600 in Flex Points per Semester The Hagen Plan is recommended for the student who eats out occasionally, but plans to frequent our dining facility for a majority of the meals. This plan also meets your needs for those after-hours snack attacks, with plenty of Flex Points for flexibility.

The Traditional Plan $1,520
7 Traditional All-you-care-to-eat Meals per week plus $400 in Flex Points per Semester This plan is perfect for the one that does not want to budget their meals. You choose which seven of our nine all-you-care-to-eat meals per week you wish to enjoy with us. This plan may be for the one who likes to leave campus for one of the weekend days or that has a job off campus a couple of nights a week. These meals cannot be shared with a friend, nor can you transfer the meals to a friend.

The costs indicated above include the costs of basic food service operation, such as facilities management, electricity, equipment maintenance, etc.

Meal plans may be purchased through the University in the Student Services.
